Recount of our Experience
Our trip to the Detroit Historical was a very interesting experience that allowed us to not only understand what the soldiers went through during their fighting with the Japanese during the war in the Pacific but also the pressure the men and women in the production line went though to make sure every machine that came out of the factory was proficient enough to be used in the war. The museum showed us how the war in the Pacific was not all about the carriers and the battleships fighting one another in the open sea's but also the fighting that went on, on the small islands in the middle of the Pacific.
